Im Feeling Insecure

I have just got a new boyfriend (been together just over a month) and i am being totally insecure (i dont show this to him).

Anyway i have had really really REALLY bad luck with men in my life and this is the first guy to show me love and respect.

My problem is im totally insecure (i dont have a very high self esteem!) i get all upset if he doesnt say "i love you" at the end of a text if i say it to him (which is know is really stupid cuz i know he loves me and he always says it when were face to face) and i get all upset if i dont see him every day (i think he is avoiding me even though the fact of the matter is that i see him almost every day and he is probaly just tired and wants to spend a night with his family every now and then).

I know all this is ridiculous but i still cant stop feeling that way. I know he loves me and enjoys being with me.

How can i stop feeling so insecure about myself and just enjoy what we have together?

if he didn't like you I'm sure he wouldn't be with you but you need to know that he's with you be cause of who you are and how you act and try to be yourself. Maybe he feels that you know he loves you so he doesn't feel the need to say it soo much or he may think that if he says it too much it will lose it's meaning or maybe he thinks you think he says it too much and you may get sick of it. when you want to hear i love you you say it first. and love yourself first you can't expect anyone to love you if you don't love yourself.


Try getting involved with activities YOU enjoy. Things that make you happy, bring out your talents, and especially help other people, will boost your self-esteem, teach you to find fulfillment on your own, and occupy you enough so you don't drive the first guy to show you love and respect away.

Men are usually turned off by women who are clingy, demanding, self-centered, pouty, drama queens, and attention seekers.


Start by telling yourself positive thoughts. Patrol your negative thoughts and notice when you having them and stop your negative thoughts by inserting a positive one. It takes time and work but if you just work on becoming more positive it will help u.
