I don't want to claim that I am a doctor, but I can only speak from experience that I have had. I am diagnosed with major depression (a more serious form of clinical depression). For a while, I wanted to die, I felt hopeless, I was tired, I didn't sleep right, I had horrible eating habits, I lost any interest in things that I used to enjoy, I had constant negative thoughts, and there are so many other things that were going on at the same time.

If you are sneezing and coughing up stuff, you go to a doctor and ask them what medicine you can take to get better. You know that you don't feel normal. The same is happening now. You have symptoms and you know that something isn't right. You need to see a doctor. If you have a school counselor in your high school, go talk to him or her first. If there isn't one that you can confide in, talk to your parents and tell them what is going on. You need to talk to someone (an adult) that can help you get to the right person to get some good help. I promise you. It is going to be allright. Just hang in there. Take things day by day. If you ever need someone to talk to, email me through ByeDR.com. Seriously, I'll be happy to listen.

Suicide and related thoughts of self-harm are not 'normal.' 'Normal' is the instinct for survival. There might be some debate about that concerning parents who sacrifice their lives for their children or something like that, but I think it is pretty much true. The absence of the survival instinct may indicate other issues. Try talking to a parent if you can. If that doesn't work, talk to someone at school like a social worker, guidance counselor, teacher, or nurse. Remember, be persistent. Sometimes teachers/faculty are overwhelmed with responsibilities and might reject your request for attention or help. Just find someone else. Definitely take care of this as soon as possible. If not, things may get worse and no caring person would want that for you.
You are going to need to change your focus on life, it's a fun world out there, it may not seem that way now but that will change, your barely 15 so you still have a lot of growing and maturing to do. People do get depressed but don't get yourself so down that you think of hurting yourself or someone else, that wouldn't be normal. You may need to talk to a professional, they have suicide help lines all over. I would also suggest you to keep active join in sports or some other activity, you don't want your mind to get idle, exercise helps your body which also helps your mind think more clearly. Again don't do anything drastic, there are a whole bunch of people that love you and will help you if you only give them the chance.
Are you a believer? If you are. As so then you know suicide is out of the question. Now as to the feelings and ideas if you think they are bothersom in a day to day way and not in a once in a while thing and interfer to the point whitch you have a very hard time focusing seek professional help.
