I have no idea if they make it work. I only know if I go off of It I cry for no reason.

You could try getting a different doctor to take you off of it, or telling him about your side effect and recommending a different drug.

How long have you been on these meds? It usually takes 6-8 weeks to feel the full effects. I was prescribed Zoloft a few years back. I was really depressed about an huge life change that was taking place. I felt that the Zoloft did not help. It made me feel like a zombie too. It made me really tired and I felt like I didn't care much about anything. I stopped taking the meds and turned my life around. There are certain conditions when these meds are needed, manic depression, Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, if you have or suspect you have one of these continue to talk to your doctor. There are many different type/classes of antidepressants out there each working in its own different way. With your insight and input and his prescription pad, I'm sure you'll work this out.

DO NOT let your psychiatrist rule your life. Don't let ANYONE tell you what to do. Especially when they are trying to force poisons into your body that screw up your mind.

Paxil is EXTREMELY dangerous! Be aware that if you go off cold turkey, you could experience panic attacks and feels electric shocks through your body for a couple of weeks.

I tried Zoloft 4 about 5 or 6 weeks and it had NO effect on me.
