If they were in my shoes, they would see sadness, they would constantly misinterpret things, have fear of others, fear relationships, dislike themselves, feel wrong.

Answer:

They wouldn't be the most confident of people.

They would value the little things.

They would try and attempt to face their fears even when they weren't sure of success.

Like anyone, they would have a lot of insecurities but wouldn't want to be ruled by them.

I think you should find out what it is in you that is the root cause of all these feelings, and work through it. No one is perfect and that's natural, but maybe you've focussed in on your faults too much and forgotten about your strengths.

Dunno where I heard this but it's pretty sound advice- if you don't like yourself, how can other people get to like you?

If people were in my shoes right now, reading the posts on Yahoo! mental health answers they would see a lot of troubled people. They would also realize, if they had my memories, that these people do not represent the world. They would realize that trouble is a temporary thing and can seem overwhelming at times but it goes away. Their reaction to these troubled people would be to empathize with them but not let their negativity force the same mood on them. In stead they would try to cheer them up by pointing out that if the world were as bad as it appears to them right now it would be necessary to change it.
