responsible if you didn't intend to hurt them? Or were you suppose to have been more intentive to there needs?

Answer:

If you caused someone pain all you can do now is apologize sincerly and avoid doing it again. However, you are only responsible for your actions not theirs. If you hurt them without intending to explain that to them as well. If they are suffering, I doubt any one thing you have done created their turmoil, it is probably an accumulation of things, people, circumstances, ect. You can not take all the responsibility. Your number one person to take care of is you, if you aren't healthy, happy, then you are less apt to be able to help others. Just remmeber, you can't change them, fix them or re-create them the best you can do is love them and listen and encourage them to get help for whatever ails them. Good luck and God bless.

you feel guilty when you did or did not do anything

because you feel like you could not help that person

dont feel guilty get this person to

a Dr to be looked after properly

You are responsible for your actions/reactions/interactions with that person. What they do with/about/after are really their responsibility. However, you should always be mindful that what you do affects others...even in small ways......just my opinion.
We all have goofed up from time to time. Welcome to the human race. The question you need to ask yourself is, not whether you're responsible, (even if you're not) but did you go to that person and apologize for anything that you might have said or done. Clear the air, and your conscience.
No. every person is responsible for their own feelings. Except little kids until they know better.
I felt guilty for many years because I once said to someone"I hope you drown"I was 12 and he was 16...it was his birthday and he and some friends of his came to where we were swimming and chased us away. When I saw news that night, I heard he did drown. He dove from a pier and his foot got stuck in a shopping cart someone pushed into the water. I wasn't responcible for that. If what you are talking about is something like that, you arent responcible either. However, if you have commited a crime, you should turn yourself in. It's the best way for both of you to put this behind you so you both can get on with your lives
