VICODEN , CAUSES ADDICTION PLUS IT DEPRESSES THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM , AS LONG , AS YOU TAKE IT YOUR BECOMING MORE ADDICTED ..SERIOUSLY, YOU COULD GO ON METHADONE , TO WEEN YOU OFF OF VICODIN , BUT METHADONE IS HABIT FORMING TOO ..GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU!
I would recommend to ask the Doc that prescribed you the pills....(They are prescription right?)
Also I know that you have to wean yourself of those pills..
Like instead of taking 2 a day...take 1.5,and then 1 and then a half and then a quater and then none..
Also keep in mind that once you are off the pills,you might not be depressive anymore..Also it depends on how long you have been on these pills..has the prob why you went on them in the first place been resolved?...
alot of times that is the best way to get better..

GET OFF the VICODIN!!!
It will have you addicted in no time, where you run out or stop taking it and you get so sick yo want to die. You can only take it for about a week without having trouble stopping. Stop now.
I got addicted without knowing it like you are doing and it almost made me kill myself I would get so sick when I had none.
My whole life became about finding vicodin and not running out of it.
If you find you are addicted, you will get flu like symptoms with bone and body ache, leg pain stomache willies, not sleep and daily diareah all the time for about two to three weeks. it is hard to deal with it that long of time.
