i've been going to a private school from pre-school to 10th grade. now i transferred to a public school. its now the 2nd semester and i just transferred 2 weeks ago. lately i've been feeling so depressed about everything. the school i go to now is a tech/IB school, thats why i transferred.

i dont know if its cause im not used to it yet or anything. coming from a private school, i barely had any hw. now i have so much and its stressing me out. also i left a lot of friends and its hard for me to make friends. im stuck with freshmen in my history class and on the first day, they were all laughing at me. so everyday i sit by myself and i get really sad.

i dont know what to do. for the past week i've been crying about all this. i really miss my old school and my friends. but my parents tell me i have to move on. will i eventually get used to it? what should i do?

dont even worry about it man just be yourself and eventually wou will start to make friends. yo will defenitly get used to it.. but dont get down on things you cant controll.. like for instance the freshman being asses.. who cares about the frosh they are idiots anyways..just keep your head up no matter what happens

Well, yes its hard, and yes, you will make some friends, and yes it is difficult to make new friends, not only in the middle of the year, but late in high school.

Its probably a little corny, but maybe someone new will come after you, and you can be their friend, and show them the ropes.
