I basically told her that I'd like to see a doctor and I think I might be mentally ill and that my life sucks. She basically said you're full of yourself-go get a life. She thinks I'm just trying to get attention. What do I do? I feel like nobody likes me and I'm having anxiety.

Answer:

Hearing that your mom doesn't believe you is one of the sadest things I have heard in a while. You are obviously under 18 and the fact that you can even be mature enough to address this issue on your own shows A LOT of maturity and courage, so to that, congratulations. Now the next step, since your mom won't intervene, is talk to a teacher or counselor at your school, they will be able to set you up with the help you need. As for people likeing you, I'm sure you're not alone, it just feels that way, especially when you are not receiving the support you should be from your parents. how old are u? u could go c the doc on ur own or talk to a counsellor at school or college? try sittin ur mam down and explaining to her that u really dont feel well and that u are askin 4 her help. dont scream and shout bcos it wont help anyone.

have u got a close friend u could talk to?

u need to get yourself a positive attitude, write down a list of things that are good about yourself, if u are kind, generous, funny etc. and read it when u get up in the morn.

try exercising aswell to release them happy hormones in ur body.

if there is somethin or someone in particular that is makin u feel this way should stay away from them or that situation.

u have to learn how to love urself first!

i had the same prob but it was my dad who did not believe me so all i did was go to the doc with my girl friend and and he gave me some med and my dad still dose not believe me
