I need help I cant stop gaining weight because of the remeron

Does anyone have any advice? I've been on remeron for the past 10 months for depression and sleep problems. It's been working pretty good but it's causing me to gain alot of weight, about 3 to 5 pound a weak. I've gained about 45 pound since I've been on it. I do ok during the day but by eveining I just can't stop eating no matter how hard I try. I've even began exsercising but to no avail. What should I do?
Answer:I hated that med. I went from 105 to 148 within a matter of months. I finally figured out it was the meds. The good news...they weight melted off. I lost 30 pounds in three months with very little effort.
Ask for another med...there are so many out there now that you don't need to be dealing with such an annoying side effect.
Have your doctor to prescribe you concerta. It's for the same thing but you have no appetite on it.
