the past couple months i keep having these scary dreams where serial killers are coming to kill me or my family. sometimes i wake up crying or shaking. i don't want to even go to sleep anymore. i don't know if this is obsessive-compulsive, paranoia...when it gets dark i keep checking the locks, mostly when i'm alone. this is ruining my life!

You need hypnosis regression therapy. There must be a reason why these nightmares are plaguing you. Hypnosis if done correctly over several sessions can probe into your subconcious and possibly even a past life (if you believe in that stuff).

Try to relax and make a Dr's appointment to get some volume or something. Do you live in a bad area of town? If so think about moving someplace a bit more safe

ive had those dreams, they usually mean that theres something in your life that you feel is overtaking you, perhaps killing your spirit, your joy, your happiness? they're usually not prophetic, unless your dreams often come true for you...the best thing to do is to look at your life and see if theres an overwhelming situation occuring--is someone dying? lose a job? lose a friend? afraid of losing a friend? bills piling up? that sort of thing...the dreams usually stop when the situation has been dealt with.
