I just self-harmed, it made me feel less numb How do I get better

I felt numb for the past few days and today I didn't go to work and risked to loose my job, but I have no energy. I hit my legs and back with a belt and whilst doing this, I felt awake, but am numb again. I am on Prozac and it helped me a lot, I would have done more stupid things if I wouldn't ta ke it.

I am just so tired of life and have no energy.

Hi honey, I had a serious problem with this for ten years, I got through it and haven't hurt myself for six years. I know you will be able to get through it to. If you ever need to talk IM and email me if you want to, even if it's just to shout and rant or jsut talk about tv or something to take your mind off it, even if it's just to email me how crap you feel, it will help venting your feelings another way. I will always reply. I know how hugely addictive this can be, and you become to rely on it so much, that coping in any other way becomes almost impossible. I am sure you can prevent it getting that far. XX


If you are hurting yourself, you need to go to the ER immediately and get help.
You have a serious problem and no one can tell you what you need to do apart from get professional help
Go see someone about it.

You need help little lady, see your GP and asked to be referred to a psych
You poor thing. There is a reason why you are doing this. You need to see your Doctor and tell him, don't worry about telling him, he probably hears a lot of this. You need to talk to someone who can really help you, he will tell you who to see. You should be enjoying life, it is too short to be having these problems. You can have the of best life that you really want, and you can have it. Just keep visualising it, and it will come true. The first step is seeing your Doctor. Good Luck
Call your doctor and make an appointment. try forcing your self to exercise for just like 10 minutes which should give you a little energy.
