I have a soar throat and some bumps in the back of my tounge
Can anyone tell me if they know what this can be? My throat feels really swollen and I just noticed some bumps in the back of my tounge and I got a little scared. If anyone knows something please help?
Answer:It is nothing but a mild viral infection. Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html...
It might be strep throat or some random bacteria. Swollen tonsils make your entire throat feel tighter. You always have bumps on the back of your tongue. They're just raised taste buds. Drink water and if you get a fever or feel really bad, call the doctor.
This shouldn't be in mental health either.
Could be strep throat--could be tonsilitis--could be the common cold, or any number of other things.
If you have a fever, you should really see a doctor, as you might need an antibiotic for infection.
In the meantime,
Drink lots of water (no ice)
Drink warm tea with honey and lemon
Gargle with warm, salty water
Take Tylenol/Motrin, etc. for pain and fever
Take extra Vitamin C
Don't eat fried foods, greasy foods, milk, soda, butter, cheese, etc., as these will make your throat feel worse. Also, don't drink anything too cold.
for the soar throat gargle with warm salted water and for the bumps take some glycerin from the chemist shop and put on them with the help of your finger and also consult the doctor
