I was filling up a gas station and a man asked me a simple question how o get to the turnpike. I couldn't think, drew a blank, then muttered something probably not right. Why does this happen. I would have ordinarily know the answer so quick.
Answer:This happens to me all the time, sadly... I figure its just cuz them approaching you is so unexpected and your mind is already focused on one thing and not really thinkin that someone will just come up to you and ask something so simple that it rarely ever takes much time to think about it so you just ramble or mumble the first thing that pops into your head..... much like my answer here. I have the same thing. I think it's because I know how to get to all these places. I could do it in my sleep. Bu honestly, I couldn't tell you the names of half the streets. I just know where I'm going!
since when do people fill up gas stations u dint go to school.
one of my favourite sayings in life is just because i know how to get some where doesnt mean i could tell any one else the way to the point of if im heading the way im going ill say follow me and then show them automatic pilot springs to mind
