I feel like im going Crazy Is this normal for what im going through
My whole adult life I have been on paxil for panic attacks only. in nov i slowly weaned on paxil due to the inablitiy to lose weight and i just kept gaining, with the lexapro the attacks came back slowly till i was having anxiety everyday. shortness of breath as soon as i got into the car and my life is starting to feel cribbled again. so the doc put me on buspar about 3 wks ago. weaned off lexapro, been off that since last wed. ive been dizzy, i feel alwful, i hav crying bouts, and today i feel lik im going crazy. the anxiety seems to be getting better but i have these other weird feelings. has anyone ever experienced this?
Answer:Though i have not experienced such things personally, but i have seen people come out of such problems by doing yoga & light aerobic exercises. Ask your physician if its ok for u to do such things & then do give it a shot. It wont harm you but you can possibly reap the benefits. All the best..get well soon.
Sounds like anxiety. Dizziness, feeling awful, crying and worrying that you're going crazy. Yup, anxiety. Of course, antidepressant medications can make anxiety worse.

Well I personally have been through some of what you are speaking of..in the past I was diagnosed bi polar 1 with psychosis...but I was having a rough time in my life and although I still have bi polar my life and how i deal with it now are differently..I have dealt with a lot of psychological problems that I hadn't dealt with from my childhood and what not...that were causing troulbe for me in my personal life..sometimes if we don't deal with things they build up and succomb us...now I am not saying that is what you are dealing with, but some things medication just can't fix...some things are needed too be changed in life and dealt with or they will end up destroying us! But yeah things that you are gonig through are normal for some people although not all people go through them....I would say diet...and exercise sleep and eating are #1 important in getting your body right so then you can deal with your psychological things...otherwise how can you tell which is psychological and what is biological? And what is both? Healthy Body then Healthy mind..the body is hte easiest thing to get healthy..the mind takes a little more work! Hope that helps!
If the buspar is working for the anxiety, talk to your Dr about putting you on a non-ssri anti depressant to go with it. Wellbutrin works well in many cases like yours. I have taken both together with good results. I know you're feeling awful right now. I've been there.
