is it bad to just carry around a handgrip and just use it every now and then throughout the day?

whats the best way to workout the forearms?

i have really small forearms

Many guyz have smalls forearms they dont work them, and sometimes only as an afterthought. Yes u can use a handgrip but to get those veins in them i suggest you do some wrist curls, and reverse wrist curls with barbells or dumbbells. Or you can squeeze a tennis ball. Make a wrist roller, or fingertip pushups (really hard). GOod luck.
What mr t says is correct. A couple more would be hammer curls, push ups on your knuckles, alternatively hanging from somewhere like a doorframe or tree branch, just try and improve your time each go.
