Why wont men go to the doctor
I had an ex boyfriend call my grandmother on me so that she would take me to the emergency room. I guess it's a good thing he did because I almost died from an abscess in my throat. I was still pissed because I had to be hospitalized for two weeks.
From experience, I used to not go because I was afraid of what might be wrong. Men don't want to be afraid, and the irony is that they are so afraid of being afraid that they screw themselves with prideful crap - until they have a death scare that is. But that wears off in about a year, then its back to normal.
I hate going to the Doctor and I'm male. I don't know how you can convince him to go. Aside from all the usually stuff like, "I'm really concerned about your health, please go... (bat your eyelashes a couple times) pretty please"
The reason i don't go is because they blow everything out of proportion. Never have i gone to the Doctor and had them say, "Ahh just walk it off". They always prescribe expensive medications, and recommend exercises and crap ill never do, so why pay $80 to walk in the door to hear that.
Another reason i don't go; No mater how bad i may feel at the time i know the cure is gonna hurt way more.
were not babies. it is just in our instincts. historicaly, the man is the protector. he is in charge of the family and is responsible for its saftey (not so much now, as in, say, cavemen days). to go to the doctor would be like an admittance of weakness... like you cant take care of your familly (as in you dont want to admit you are weak).
Just tell him , Real men are smart enough to see a doctor when they are sick.

because guys think they can fix everything themselves even health issues my bf has asthma and he wont go to the doctor either.
this is what i do i tell my bf that i'm worried and that hes all i care about and i dont know what id do if i didnt have him and yeah stuff like that crying make help even more hope this helps
same with my dad and then when he did go he found out he had cancer so maybe they are scared of what they might find out. but good thing my dad went when he did or he could be dead.
