Im trying to build my upper arms and shoulders...how long will this take?
Answer:because you are using more than your arm muscles also chest muscles.if you want to build your arms you need to do more than push ups and if you do it slowly you will see results sooner.in about a month.
Coz' you are now straining your chest and back muscles. They will ache usually if you only just started working out (also true with other body part). The pain will eventually go away as you continue your workout and build muscle mass.
cuz ur working, smart.
its a build up of acid from lack of atp it think. too much of this is bad and you should refrain from working out for atleast 2 days
Because that's what happens when beginners start lifting weights or do orther anaerobic exercise that builds muscle. They get sore for a couple or a few days after because the muscles are not used to the stress. Sometimes a delayed form of soreness called "DOMS" can also occur, where soreness comes on a couple day later (doms = delayed onset muscle soreness). But if you feel sore, that means you worked the muscles, and when they heal, they'll start to build and become more resistant.
The soreness diminishes in frequency and severity as you continue your workouts.
I can't believe you don't understand this already. You must have heard countless people complain about soreness when they start working out, so wtf?
