Why do you think that the human maless scrotum (containing the balls) is found outside the body
so when you're playing soccer you have an extra target to hit to spice the game up.
Because the optimum temperature for sperm production is just below body temperature so hangs away from body. (Hence advice to infertile men to wear baggy pants-attractive- and take cold showers.)
To be honest I haven't the faintest idea... interesting question though.
Maybe god or whoever designed us this way just thought it'd work better that way. I suppose if it was on the inside it may mean you became a woman?

To keep the sperm cool. They have to be cooler than ur body temp.
Effective production of sperms are possible only in a conditions where the temperature is lower than that of the body temperature.
So they are kept in a sack which can effectively regulate the tepmerature...this is how...
You might have noticed that when you are in a cold climate your testicles shrink. and when you are in a hot climate, your testicles hang loose. This is bcoz when cold the testicles hug close to the body to get the warmth of the body to keep the optimum temperature. And while in hot climate it stays away form the body to stay as much cold as possible.
Same is the reason why people who work in very hot places like near furnaces, people who wear very tight under wares etc have low sperm count.
To help regulate the temperature so that the optimum amount of sperm will be produced. In winter, the scrotum shrinks, holding the testicles close to the body. In summer, the scrotum hangs low, keeping the testicles from being warmed by the body.
the spem can not be produced at regular body temperature, so nature created it so that they could hang out and be a few degrees lower than the normal body temp.

Yep, looks like everyone has the right answer....but did you know that an elephant has internal testicles! That is despite the fact that elephants live in hot climates and have trouble losing heat (hence their need for big ears to cool their blood).
Maybe it is because of thorn bushes in Africa???
So that the testicles can hang downwards for a lower temperature which maximises the condition of the sperm.
