I get done with ice cream and I need water. Why is this?

Answer:

Milk is like slug slime, it makes you have flegm, and you need to dilute it with some thinner liquid. I always drink coffee because it is a complement, like coffee after cake.

I can't remember why.. I know I used to know.. Anyways, it has something to do with the ingredients.. I think it's sugar.. well it makes you thirsty. It's normal.

I don't know...it's weird cuz they always have water fountains @ ice cream parlors & frozen yogurt shops. Personally, I've NEVER craved water after those treats. Maybe it's the sodium content.

For real? I feel the same way...I mainly crave it when I eat something with chocolate in it.....I dont know why we crave it tho....

Probably because of the butter fat / milk content, it's not very thirst quenching, you may just need the extra liquid.

I'm the same way. I LOVE ice cream and milkshakes and I like to have the water after wards, to rinse the sweet,sticky residue from my mouth.

I think because it is so thick and full of cream it is more of a way to cleanse your mouth and throat.
