Why cant i sing
I used to be a really good singer. I played main singing roles in all plays etc...
Then, as my voice was breaking, i was in a play and i think i must have damaged my voice by singing to high and/or straining it.
Now i cannot sing AT ALL. It just wont come out. - 3 years later.
What have I done? and will I ever be able to sing again?? i miss it :'(
Thanks
Answer:Many boys lose their ability to sing really well when their voices break, but to not be able to sing at all sounds like a medical problem rather than a developmental problem.
I hate to keep saying "see a doctor," but it's probably the appropriate course of action for you. This is obviously not a life-threatening emergency, but for your own satisfaction, please consult a throat specialist. It's possible some simple surgery or even some throat spray is all that is needed to get your voice healthy again.
Singing is fun -- don't deny yourself this pleasure longer than you have to.
not every1 has that talent!
something may have gone wrong on your vocal cords. you may probably be able to sing but it may not be as good as you were before. you must refer your issue to a doctor.
I'm 23, up until a year ago I could hit high notes. I got a chest cold, which lasted about 1 1/2 weeks. After that, no more singing that involved higher pitches. I don't know why, but that's what happened. It's ok though, I'm just developing another style to acheive the same effect with out needing a high, whiny pitch.
you have to sing another way. mabye you werent meant as a singer
If you have watched American Idol you would know very few people have that talent. Not every one can sing no matter how bad they wish they could!!!
Sorry you lost your talent but I am sure your great at some thing!
