Why cant i put contact lenses in
I went to the optician and tried 3 times for an hour a time and couldn't do it.....i play football and its starting to affect that which is why i want contacts....can anyone help with possible methods??
Answer:I have several suggestions. One is to see an ophthalmologist as they might suggest the best possible type of contacts. My best pair was a much older pair called SoftMates II. They fit me much better than any others he tried on me. Second, the lens I had did have a wrong side out and I couldn't get it in when that happened. Next, the instructions they give are exactly the best way to do it I've found. I looked the lens right down onto my eye after I realized I wasn't going to do any harm by touching it to my eyeball. The first few tries are the hardest. Practice makes perfect. But if you dont want contacts, try LASEX surgery. Its a laser surgery for correcting refractive lenses for good, it also means good bye contacts for good. Your eyes is as good as new.
make sure you arm is over your head with your hand over your forehead to be able to lift your eyelid up all the way i use my middle finger i find that easier to use i pull down my bottom lid with my little finger also made sure you fingers are not to wet i like to wet the outside rim of the lens i hope you can understand this lol good luck
Anticipating the contact lens entering is causing you to over blink. Try wetting drops in your eye before putting the lens in and firmly hold the upper and lower lens. You will definitely need assistance for a while (sibling or parents). After (if) you successfully get the contact lens in your eye leave it close for a few seconds to dissolve the drops and you should be good.
It took me AGES to learn how, and the technique I now use is a little unconventional but works brilliantly for me... hold your eyelids open like the optician will have said, and get the lens ready on your finger. Now, the problem I had is that my eyes would close as soon I saw the lens coming, so here is what I do - look in the mirror to make sure you have the lens lined up properly with your eye, then to put in the right one, make your eye look as far to the left as you can. This way you can put the lens onto the white part of your eye, and they will then centre themselves as you rotate your eyeball. Then when you put in the left one, line it up and then look as far to the right as you can. Your eyes won't feel the need to close as they won't see it coming - I hope this helps you!
oh i'd never be able to do that a girl I know says its easy you just open your eye wide put them in, blink and thats it but i wouldn't be able to do it if i needed them probably!!! Keep practising! Laser eye surgery is really expensive im sure its good and everything but an advert says FROM 拢395 PER EYE!!
Maybe you could get special glasses that stay on?
or if your eyes aren't too bad just don't wear them for football.
i saw an answer for laser surgery what ever you do do not get lasik surgery because they cut your cornea and laser it and close it agn 1 it never heals also this is like lasering a contact lens in your eye so if your eyes get worse later on you will have permanant contact lens kind of thing in your and again you will have to use contacts or glasses
