Answer:
Because "Male-Pattern Baldness" is a hereditary condition. And it comes from the mother's side of the family. So if her father, brothers went bald.....you probably will, too.

The tendency toward baldness is hereditary. Testosterone levels have something to do with it -- the higher the more baldness tendency. Your body's natural testosterone level is also hereditary. Women have some of the hormone testosterone in their systems, but more of female hormones like estrogen. That's why women can carry the genes for baldness but do not develop male pattern baldness. When women go through menopause and their estrogen levels drop, their hair becomes thinner, but they don't usually develop baldness.
I'm told that the prescription medication Rogaine helps encourage hair growth, or maybe it discourages thinning and follicle death, but I have no personal experience with the stuff.
Some bald guys have decided to make the best of it by pointing out that their baldness means they have more of the male hormone testosterone and are therefore more sexy.
beacsue women let hair grow and you don't see that often and women take care of their hair .... we don;t!
