A time that works best for you. I could never make the AM exercise work for me, but late afternoon/early evening suits me just fine.
The few times I did run without breakfast I did fine, as if I run after breakfast, I end up hurling
I read taht the best time to exercise isaournd 3/4pm, as your body has had time to wake up, limber up, has goten food and also your joints etc are ready to be used.
If you do it in early morning your body takes a beating as its not awake yet, and last thing at night leaves you body full of hormones.

I do exerecise in the morning now. (working swing shift).
But for me work better evening, after you came home you don't feel like eating dinner...so good for mee.
It`s like driving a car with out any gas, you`re using up all your reserves. This is how our bodies burn calories,if you do not put
food in your tank it`s going to store it as fat. and as for working
out ,in the morning is best because that`s when you have all your
energy,some people just can`nt get going that early.
i found out this thing the other day... if you do a 5 - 45 minute hard exercise session and then carbo-load (eat lots of food with a large carbohydrate level), your body stores the energy gained from the food for three days. this energy is really easily accessed so if you do some more excersize a day later you will have heaps of energy really fast!
