What could be wrong? is this a sign of balding?
Answer:when you look at your hair in the mirror after shaving it off, the light tends to shine on the top of the head, thus looking like it is really short, however b'coz of the light/shadow aspect, the sides of the hair are covered by a dark shadow making it appear longer. and if u have jet black hair like myself and whenever i shave mines it is a nightmare to make sure you have shaved it all off. plays tricks on the eyes.
You probably shaved it wrong, or too much in one place! Depending on how old you are, it could or could not be a sign of balding.
shave your whole head and let it grow even
its just that the pattern your hair grows in, it kind of sprawls out in a different direction I'm guessing. you could get it shaved a little shorter then the rest next time to keep the square look, but make sure you don't get it faded down or it won't matter.
