I was thinking of this because we often use the heart to symbolize love and life. And i often hear that the heart is the MOTOR of humans. so which one is it?

Answer:

The brain runs everything including the heart. Every movement we voluntarily make is decided by the brain. In the case of survival, the brain will lower blood pressure and slow down heartbeat.

no its actually the heart runs everything because if the blood don't get pumped through your body and to your brain you would be dead the brain is the smart part of you and the heart and blood is the MOST important part of your body and the heart pumps blood through the chambers in your heart and out the arteries into your veins and back through again and when you here a pulse its from your heart NOT your head when you here a pulse its pumping blood through your body in a beat witch the heart controls.

It processes the information and is the last strand in the rope of consciousness. But your brain will see body organs as separate, while if you focus on the present moment you will feel the heart, body and brain as one.
