sports briefs need to do two things:
Support and wick away moisture. First, look for a support pouch, not a flat front. The fabric should be appropriate for the season or ALL seasons, able to wick away moisture to avoid chafing. Fit is VERY important as well, and all will fit differently. You are going to need to experiment to find the brand that fits you best. My personal preference is for CK and UA, but that's because they fit me best. I know guys who wear other brands because that's what fits them best. 2xist are too tight across my ***, and Champion briefs don't have enough room in the pouch for me (I hate being squished).
I would suggest Calvin Klein...my boyfriend loves them.
Jockeys are my personal favorite brand of sports briefs. They give the correct support and fit the best in most sporting events.
