Purple/blue spot on top of penis

hi, i was recently looking at my penis and on the top of it, where it meets the pelvis area there is a spot (a little bit larger than a pea) that is bluish/purplish in color and almost feels/looks like an enlarged vein or something...I was wondering should i be concerned and what should i do? thanks for your help
Answer:Well you can do an internet search to look at pics of different std's to see if any look like what on you(if your having sex that is). If your not having sex and your young then you may want to go to a parent and let them know so you can see a doc.
i advise you go to a doctor if it doesnt go away within 2 days. it could end up being some kind of disfunction
yah i suggest u go to the doctor and find out whats wrong but dude u really have time to look at that thing all the time?
Well, it seems like you may not have insurance if you are not at the doctor by now. Go and get that thing checked out! And if you don't have insurance go to the emergency room. They will work on you.
