Psycolgical Erectile Dysfunction
I am 24 and have been having trouble with my erections for 6 months, how long will iti be before my normal, natural erection comes back? Any stories from anyone who has gone through something similar? I have become depressed along with anxiety, I am seeing a therapist which is helping a little but any advice would be great?
Answer:hopefully, you have seen your family doctor and a urologist to have testing done to rule out a biological abnormality. if you're taking prescribed or street drugs, many play havoc with male erections.
try to masturbate. if you are successful, great. if not successful, try reading (yeah, sure) a magazine like playboy, hustler, etc. or watching a porn movie. these are usually success in jump starting the libido.
the best thing you can do is to not beat yourself up over this issue. from experience, i know it is frustrating. try to relax and think, with a positive vs. negative attitude.
ask you doctor for a prescription for viagra, cialis, or levitra. all three drugs have a highly successful rate.
keep telling yourself------it will happen!
HEALTHY MIND, HEALTHY BODY
Your problem is rooted in fear. The only way to break through the wall is to just attack it head-on, full speed ahead, and scale that wall.
Find a nice girl who would like to help you overcome your fear of intimacy. You will get offers here. Ask that question. You need a warm woman to help you, not a therapist.
This is tougher to correct than physicological erectile dysfunction problems. Viagra won't help you Dude. Only thing I can think of is to start feeling better about yourself and quit even worrying about the ED problem.....Good Luck. At 24, you should still have no problem at all. It should be pretty much anytime/anywhere/all the time.
Are you on any medication? Any bad breakups with gf/bf? School/work stress. If so, that might be part or all of your problem. Otherwise keep working with the therapist to get your head on straight again.... try exercise and keeping a positive outlook. I know that sounds lame, but keep at it OK? - Good Luck

visit a female therapist, i'm sure she will find a way of fixing your problem.
