Propecia for young guys

I am just 21 and I am quite clearly thinning all over the place. I am embarrassed to go anywhre without a hat on. Any young people out there use propecia or something similar? How effective was it for you? I dont want to show up at my 5 year highschool reunion with a bald head. I feel so terrible I have considered transplants already, but people tell me that doing that at a young age is a bad idea.

Answer:

Too much for your age. Try protective shampoos or topically used agents. Systemic therapy has a lot of side effects, and (this is my personal opinion) must be used as the last remedy. Body's hormonal balance is very sensitive, and once its deteriorated its very difficult to fix it. You must stay away these kind of hormonal pills. (evey kind of them)

Propecia's side effects are reported as: Decreased volume of ejaculate, decreased libido and/or impotence, breast tenderness or enlargement (gynecomasty) (and if that occurs, you'll need a plastic surgery), oily skin and therapy resistant acnes... Some of these side effects, can be treated as only stop using the medicine, but some of them (such as gynecomastia) need additional therapies.

Transplants are not considered by dermatologists or plastic surgeons (who are the specialists of this job) before 30-35 ages because, it can shed again.
