I am 13 years old and I found that I have like a purplish glob of what looks to be veins in my scrotum. I've heard they are bad and harmless. Is it normal that it happens during puberty? Please Help!!!
Answer:Yes, it can cause infertility, since the temperature in your testicles is affected.
You've got to have surgery to have the problem corrected. I developed it when I was 15, and got surgery when I was older and now I have two kids.
I suggest you go to an Urologist and have it checked
It's pretty common for kids your age however it could lead to infertility in the later years. Your best bet is to talk to your parents and make sure they take you to the doctor.. There are treatments.
