I don't know if you can live on semen alone or that there are any positive benefits, but yes you can swallow it with no bad effects. Besides the microscopic sperm cells, it's mostly protein and digestible.

Yes it can be swallowed. The pros you feel great and your girlfriend/significant other will have satisfied you. The cons to me there are none unless one or both of you have an STD. It can be swallowed. It has proteins among other things. It is carrying sperm and provides a rich base for them to thrive. So it's good for you is a pro. It feels good for the one having it done to them is another pro. Depending on strength it is supposed to taste good.

And of course the cons are the STDs. Just like how it tastes good in some men, in others it is supposed to be very strong, bitter and that is pretty nasty.
