I am about 5'8 and 180 pounds. My body type would be classified as an endo. Im not fat by any means but i have a little chubs if you know what i mean. Its more on the hips than anything. I want to get completely ripped but not lose any of the muscle I have. Im bulky right now and I dont want to get bulky any more. What types of workouts and diets should I be doing?
Answer:I recommend going to your local gym because almost nobody on here is gunna know the "perfect" plan for your ideas of the "perfect" body. Just remember to eat healthy and exercise daily.
Well, what works good for the people I train is doing no more than 2 hours of cardio a week. Don't do cardio for 40+ minutes a session, just do about 30 minutes with good intenity. Preferably treadmill or elliptical since they work upper and lower body. With weights lifting in an 8-15 rep range seems to work well. Try using super sets to burn more calories while boosting intensity, with a maximum of 1 minutes rest between sets. With the diet, getting about 1 gram of protein, 1-1.5 grams of carbs, and about 0.5 grams of essential fats should assist with weight loss along with muscle maintenance. This may not work for everyone but it has worked great for the people who I work with. Also make sure you get a good post workout meal.
