I used a penis erection ring per a suggestion of a co worker while making love to my wife last night and today there is a bruise on my penis like maybe a blood vessel broke during the tension is this something to worry about?

That is the risk in using a penile ring. It will cause some bruises. Long term use can cause damage to the penile nerves and artery.
If it hurts then yes, go see a doctor immidiatly.. If it doesnt hurt then no big deal, just dont use the rings anymore, cuz its obviously not good for ya.
