after applying aftershave and it 'drys' off in a few minutes, do i leave it on permanently or do i wash it off after a bit.. if so, how long after?

you just leave it on after shaving.

Leave it on, because the formula will fill in the holes and sooth your face. the hole part is to keep it from growing back suddenly! make sure to apply after showering!
