The answer to the question is 3 because the glomerulus is where the blood is "filtered" into the collecting system and if there is a dysruption there it can cause blood to leak into the urinary tract.

However, blood in the urine can be caused by many other reasons. Clinically when we detect blood in the urine, we look for problems such as kidney stone, bladder cancer, renal cell ca, etc.
