fraternal twins are two eggs fertilized by two sperm independantly , its an accident that two eggs are released. they can be different sexes and are usually only alike in that they had similar things going on in the womb when being born. identical twins are one egg fertilized by one sperm and then it splits and forms two zygots, it is also an accident of nature, but these children will have the same sex, same finger prints and same dna, and they very often think and feel very much alike though they are not perfect clones so they dont have to grow up and be anything alike , though they most often are.
