would you still get a tan even though tan means destroyed skin
I don't tan because tan skin=dead skin cells which leads to cancer and premature aging to name a few. Some lady up above mentioned it releases a chemical that makes you feel good, she's referring to Serotonin I believe and it's not from the tan, it's a chemical in your brain which helps you feel happy and it's helps to be released from the sun or various activities like working out. I know this cuz I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, which means I don't get enough sunlight in the winter months because it's dark most of the time and then I get depressed 'sigh', so i have to take medication to help balance serotonin levels in my brain.
Hopefully you don't look that unnatractive just because your not tanned and maybe it will make you look a bit better but still is it looks or long term health, you gotta choose one, it contributes to wrinkles, you want to be a wrinkly lady or one who has less wrinkles and hopefully you won't regret it later like some old folks do and try to tell the youngins to watch out but they don't neccesarily want to hear it.
