why we can not use other enzymes in ELISA technique except HRP,AP etc

ELISA is technique used in idenification of endemic region for perticular diseases ,its interaction of antigens and antibodies

The enzyme is used to quantify the reaction, The enzyme HRP is attached to the secondary antibody and is therfore able to change the colour of the substrate from clear to a coloured solution. Which can then be measured for absorbance. The enzymes used are most likely because they are common enzymes that are known to be reliable and cheap to attach to the secondary antibody.
