normal saline does not have bicarbonate, which is basic and therefore increases the ph of blood. There is also other chemicals in blood (K+, Cl-, amino acid residues.).this this answer good enough.or are you thirsty for more?!?!?!?

Blood is not neutral. 7 is neutral, blood is slightly acidic. Saline is the closest thing to plasma they have without using plasma.
