and why do we have to compare the heart rate and rhythm??

Answers:

Epinephrine increases the heart rate and blood pressure which needs to be monitored. I find it very strange that a asthma patient would recieve that drug in this day and age.

because ephedrine is a stimulant and it makes the heart beat faster sometimes making the patient tachacardiac.
