why DNA doesn,t do all jobs in a cell ?whiles it can .
Answers:probably because that is what evolution means -using different things and finding which one works best .
moreover if entire body functions would be done by proteins then you would require only protein in your diet while the carbohydrates and fats would be useless so you would have to eat only protein rich foods and your food options would reduce and so you would be less adapted to different environments and your chance of survival would decrease.
