It makes me less edgy, and less anxious. I'm not as jumpy, or hyper. Is that what I want? I take it for depression and anxiety. I used to take 50 mg. Now it's 100. I'm a big boy/ 6' 3'', 250 lbs. So I guess it's working. I'm more at ease. How do I know how I'm supposed to feel if I am insane?
Answers:I think I may have been on a lesser dose of 50mg? but I don't recall having trouble focusing. Is it a side effect that is listed in the literature? I had a decreased sex drive while on the medication, so needless to say, I quit taking it.
I think it can make you tired, but this often goes away in time.
Don't know why you're on Zoloft but please go to a pharmacy and ask them to give you the folded up piece of paper that comes in every box. Please read about all of the side-effects. My cousin took this at one time and continued having vision problems. I read the side-effects, on the folded up piece of paper from the box, and guess what.blindness is one of the side effects. I'm sure Zoloft effects different people in different ways but it's still a very dangerous drug. Switch to herbs and exercise a lot - you'll feel much better.
First off, I heart Zoloft. Secondly, if you want to be not as jumpy, hyper, anxious, and edgy, then, yes, that would be what you would want, right? Personally, I've been able to focus better after being on Zoloft than before taking it. The effect of medication varies per person, and if there are any questions, go see the doctor that perscribed it to you.
