does ne one really know why yawns are contagious?? i mean c'mon!

Answers:

yawning is an involutary reaction caused by a lack of oxygen to some part at the back of the brain. When you yawn, you take in a deep breath and replentish you oxygen levels - temporarily

at a stretch i'd say it's contagious cause if everyone's bored than everyone is losing focus and becoming tired, and when you become tired you start to have reduced oxygen levels at that part of the brain so we all start yawning! but i know you guys aren't going to fall for that. but the first part is true, it really is due to a lack of oxygen mainly caused by shallow breathing as a result of weariness
