Would you rather have a doctor who practices alone or one who practices group medicine Please explai
For a general doctor I prefer to go to a group. I like that there is always someone on call to help me or if I am very sick I can get in with another doctor in good timing. However, I am a nanny for a surgeon who has a private practice. He is very sucessful and actually is in a group of private practice doctors in the metro I live in who take turns being on call, so it all works out. I had him remove my wisdom teeth (hes an oral surgeon) and my experience was great. But being a family friend had its benefits. I know for a fact he is more caring than groups generally speaking. He calls people the night after surgery and checks on them and stuff. So individuals are best for personal reasons.
ALso, check to see if you are guarenteed to see your doctor if you go to a group. I know some groups you see who is available. This is very common with OBGYN's. I had foot surgery and the doctor who did the operation didn't do my check up. It was odd!
One that does group madicineAnd because he would probably be better.
I would rather have a dr who knows what to do and doesn't need to practice anymore.
I don't think it matters. You want a quality doctor and if he's in a group or not shouldn't have any impact on that.
DRUGS ARE ALWAYS THE ANSWER
