I feel that nano will get to that point and I would welcome the additional storage and processing power as an add-on to my brain (the more the better), but not as a replacement. So, sign me up please! I would be happy to live just as long as I possibly can. There are currently more than a few 鈥榖ugs鈥?to work out first though. I would also safely say that these possibilities are just the tip of the iceberg and I am looking forward to it.

I think that augmenting ourselves is the only way to reach the so called post-human status which in turn is the only way for us to completely understand and rule our universe.

Very interresting.. I would have to say I would not consider any of the above. I have no desire to outlive my children or my grandchildren if that part of my brain were to retained in my memory. also, skin and muscle, heart and organs still age and could kill me, but then if you are talking cybernetic body parts then I would have to still say no to this. I am a believer in the after life so I would want to be with my loved ones when I die and not necessarily experience the world in some 200 years. I would, however, consider donating my body to science once I am dead and let them do with my body what they wish, in which case I would not be me and have no knowledge of this. So scientists can have all the fun with me that they wish,. long after I am gone.
