How could it be done?
Would we just end up extremely old and terrible looking?

NOT possible. Maybe in the bible, but those aren't true probably. Jsut made up stories.

one cannot live for 200 or 300 years in this world if so they will be the most terrible looking creatures and also life is impossible without so many medicines to extend one's life till 200 or 300

the bible promise is that soon we will get old but not die and be healthy looking.
but we have to be doing what the author of the bible tells us to do

In the Bible's times, people only lived to about 45 years of age. They got married around 13-14 and by the time they got to 30 they would have lost all their teeth and their insides would be crawling with internal parasites. Even a hundred years ago, living to 70 years old was seen as an "old" age, but now 70 is the new 50!People keep on reaching the 100 year mark and for my generation (I'm 30 years old) the new age we will live to is estimated at 120years. If you would have told someone in the Bible's time (when there was no modern medicine and people died of things like flu) that one can live to the age of 120, they would have said it is impossible. So what seems impossible now, may be truly possible in future.so the answer is yes!
