Good Answers Not To Add A word
Rabies is not hydro-phobia. Hydrophobia is fear of water, not rabies. But if a person have rabies, he will surely fear water. I think rabies is associated with hydro-phobia in that way but not know for that.
Rabies have to do with fear of water, not vice versa.
Hydrophobia (hi-dro-fo'-bi-a) [Greek. hydor- water; phobos-fear] Rabies (ra'-bez) [Latin. madness] in man. A once fatal disease caused by a neurotropic virus. Spasm of throat occurs when patient attempts to eat or drink -- hence "hydrophobia".
