Why Im I so Cold

My intention is not to scare you,but if you go to your family doctor you can request your doctor or nurse to draw blood from your arm to check your TSH Levels. TSH stands for (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone),and it basically tells your doctor how much or how little your thyroid is functioning. I would set up an appointment to see your family doctor and if you have the test done, and nothing is wrong with your thyroid that would be wonderful news.

Another thing that could be causing you to feel cold is if you are anemic,do you feel tired all of the time? Try taking a multi-vitamin every day with your breakfast meal, and maybe that would help you feel better? I will warn you that some people may say that your thyroid is nothing to worry about, but did you know that if you suffer from a low thyroid level (Hypothyroidism),that if you are not taking medication for it,that you could go into a coma,I am not kidding! If the doctor does find something wrong with your thyroid either hyperthyroidism,or hypothyroidism, your doctor would put you on a pill that you take every day for the rest of your life, and your doctor will have you come back every three months to do blood work to make sure the medication is working properly. Good Luck and I hope that you can find out why you aren't feeling well!! ((((HUGS)))) ;-)

It could be because you are very thin or you could have poor blood circulation.
Another reason for feeling cold may be because you have low blood pressure. My BP is low but still normal and I am cold a lot, too. You also may be low on iron or some other vitamin or mineral. You might try taking a multi-vitamin with iron.

A trick I have learned to help me is to wear 2 pairs of socks. Also a good workout 3-5 times a week will boost your metabolism and help you feel warmer if there is no underlying medical condition!

It sounds to me like your circulation is a bit stagnent! Maybe some heating herbs would help and some physical movement also, like some light stretching! I do not like being to cold, I know what you mean!
Low iron..eat more food groups that contain a good source of iron, like:

Red meat,

Enriched breakfast cereals

Cooked beans and lentils

Pumpkin seeds

Blackstrap Molasses
