I developed this when I visited a very humid area after a 2 month stay the GP said it happens a lot. I have tried lots of things but wondered if one of the cell salts would cure it.

Answer:

The one that I hear most often is Vick's Vaporub on the finger nail or toe nail at least 2 times a day. it is inexpensive and worth a try. It takes a long time and it should be applied from the Nail bed over the whole nail and under the nail where possible. Best of Luck

I would say tissue salts were not the remedy of choice .Maybe try essential oils like tea tree or lemon myrtle something strongly antifungal or whatever the doctor says lamisil or similar?

Fungal infections of the finger and toenails are very common and notoriously difficult to get rid of.
