the only way is to go to get it fixed at a foot doctor. I had one too and actually me waiting was more painful then getting it fixed I think the only painful thing about getting it fixed is when they stick the needle in your toe to make it numb, after that all you see is blood and once its done it feels alot better.

I'm a nurse. You really should see a doctor to determine if you will Need antibiotics once removed. Any form of infection can become septic(in your bloodstream) and turn fatal. I know it seems like a small thing but it can turn into something very serious. See a doctor your primary is able to take care of this for you.
